I suppose to receive a call on Monday Monday the 27 to complete the work on my car today is Thursday the 29 have not heard back from the service department.

Pedder Hyundai of Poway - THE WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!! I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy (top of the line SUV) on 4/26/26 at Pedder Hyundai of Poway. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal until I looked through the 75 pages of paperwork (do you really have time to read all that?) several days later and discovered they overcharged me $1596.00 on the price of the car when I had a print out of the "Advertised Price" from their website. They also added on the contract two $1495.00 charges they said I had to pay (and could not get out of) for which were "Finishing Touch" a vehicle appearance protection (they said they put on the car previously) and "S.W.A.T. RECOVERY", a GPS vehicle location and recovery program. That car does not appear to have any kind of extra finish on it and even if it does, why do I have to pay for it? They did it before I purchased it. Why didn't they put it in the original price of the car? As far as the S.W.A.T., I have full insurance coverage on the car so why is it mandatory that I have to pay for this as well? And then on top of it all, they charged me for something called "CENTURY VSC" to the tune of $3995.00. OMG!! They said I could cancel that (which I did two weeks later). I was told by Finance Mgr. Joey Gabriel that Century would return that money to me. I called the Century company on 6/25/26 only to find Joey Gabriel had not put in a "Cancellation Request" to get my money ($3995.00) returned to me. Century does not return money. It has to come from the dealership. He blatantly lied to me. I was there for 5 hours on a Sunday until 9:00 PM when they close at 6:00. I was hungry, I was tired and I was not even sure of what I signing. They did NOT explain everything to me. I am a Senior Citizen, who was taken advantage of. I put $30,500 down on this vehicle and the only amount that should have been financed is around $8000. The total amount was over $9000 more! Some of the employees at this dealership are scam artists, not all. It has now been over 9 weeks and I can't even reach anyone in Finance or even the Operator. When I call, I get this message: "The User's mailbox is full and cannot accept more messages". I have handicap plates (for my previous Santa Fe) which I just paid $235 in March for a new 26 tag. I was told by Pedder Hyundai that I could not use these plates on my newly purchased Santa Fe. That was a lie as well. I called the DMV 5 times to verify that I could transfer these plates to my newer car. The plates that were on that car when I purchased it were expired so not only did I have to pay over $600 (plus a late fee) for a new tag and transfer fees. There is also a safety recall on this vehicle regarding the seat belts not being secure at the base. They had this vehicle in their possession and did not fix this recall. What kind of scam business are they running there? They are scam artists to the max.
