Everything you see online at the “discounted” rate is essentially bait to get you to come in. They’re the classic dealership that has add-ons for random garbage like “paint protection” and “location services” etc. Add about 3 to 4 grand on top of the “discounted” price you see online, and that is what you can actually expect to pay plus TT&L. Already found better options via Carvana/Carmax and you’re not getting hassled with sleazy sales tactics.

I found all the people I worked with at Pedder to be kind, courteous, and very helpful. With that said, Saturdays appear to be hectic and more finance people available would have been a benefit in getting that part of the transaction finalized.

I visited Pedder Hyundai of Poway on 7/31/2026 to purchase a used 2025 Honda CR-V EX that was advertised online for approximately $27,793. Before coming in, I reviewed the advertisement carefully and found no disclosure stating that the advertised price required the purchase of dealer-installed products or optional add-ons. Once we arrived, the Sales Manager (Sam White) informed us that the advertised price was not actually available unless we purchased additional dealer products, including a nitrogen tire package. When I asked where that requirement was disclosed in the advertisement, no one could point to any such disclosure. To make matters worse, the vehicle’s advertised price had increased by approximately $200 on the day of our pre-scheduled visit, yet we were told the price had not changed. As well-qualified buyers, we arrived ready to buy, but instead of honoring what we believed were the advertised terms, we were presented with undisclosed add-ons that we did not need nor want. Rather than reward those sales tactics, we chose to leave. Please Note: California Vehicle Code §§ 11713 and 11713.1 establish requirements governing the advertising and sales practices of licensed vehicle dealers, and consumers have the right to submit complaints to the California DMV Investigations Division, the California Attorney General’s Office, and the Federal Trade Commission so the dealership’s advertising and sales practices can be reviewed.

If you want to sell your car, this is the best place. I tried to sell it to a private party, and also went to other dealerships, but when I went here I was surprised by Abe Farhat. He immediate identified where we had some paint work to have the car fixed before selling it (a scratch very visible that would hurt our selling price). He played no games and was straight with the pros and cons of the car and with the purchase procedure. I was also very honest with him and maybe that's why we reached an agreement. In short I had been to several dealerships and Abe was by far the best one. Sell your car to him!
