Sales person was great, sales manager was pushy and bordered on rude…asking “doesn’t your spouse want you to have a nice car?” I did not want to finance because explaining financials with my job is a pain and was countered with “you can’t buy a new car and work where you work?”. I got the car but my son bought a Honda in Arizona and he said he learned never buy a Hyundai from that interaction.

Service tech failed to tighten the bolts on both front tires after finishing the regular service. This almost caused me to be on an accident. The service advisor handled it and fortunately no bad incidents occurred but this is a pretty egregious error. I didn’t even get an in person apology from the service manager or other management personnel. Very concerning that management wouldn’t come out to discuss this with me. I’ve bought/leased 4 vehicles from here. This may be my last. The service advisor Thinh was great at getting it resolved.

As a single mom, I have had past dealerships see me as an easy target when it comes to upping the original quoted price through hidden fees. However, that was not the case with Pedder Hyundai of Poway. They were the only Hyundai dealership in San Diego and Orange County that gave me the numbers before I came in. The other dealerships gave me partial quotes. My positive experience started with Wesley working with me on the numbers for two Kona's and Moses worked with me in person. The professionalism and people skills that these two young men exhibited was impressive. From start to finish, I was not only relieved by the ease and consistency with the sales department, but also with George in financing.
